This Year the Education Fair was held on the 16th of July 2003, in the SMJK Kwang Hua school hall from 8.30am till 2.00pm. It was organised by the UBK group (Unit Bimbingan dan Kaunseling) which is a combination of the Career club, the Counseling club and the Crime Prevention club, under the care of Mdm Sally Jow and Mdm Prema. The theme for the Education Fair was " Students Of Quality : Aspiration Of The Country" (Pelajar Berkualiti Aspirasi Negara). It was launched by our pricipal, Mr Chua Yam Ken, who gave an inspiring speech to motivate the students to excel in their studies. Representatives from each college received a souvenir from Mr Chua. There were a total of 22 colleges who turned up on that day. All Form 4 and Form 5 students had the opportunity to visit the booths set up by the respective colleges. The main purpose of this Education Fair was to help students to get information regarding the various oppotunities available when they further their studies after SPM. It was held for the convenience of the students of SMJK Kwang Hua, as they can get first hand information without any hassle. Pamphlets and brochures were given out to the students. In short, the Education Fair was truly a success with the co-operation of all 35 dedicated members of the UBK. Representatives from all colleges gave their thumbs up for the services provided by the organizing committee, and they looked forward to coming to Kwang Hua again.
