MGS 6th Youth Conference - Our Choice, Our Future

Methodist Girls' School is organising its sixth MGS Regional Yoth Conference (RYC) from Friday 20 July to Saturday 21 July 201.  The conference focuses on the need to confront the ethical dilemmas which pervade our lives, particularly Biothics, Biodiversity and War/Peace. 

The conference aims is

  • to raise awareness of moral consciousness in our students who, as future leaders, will be rewuired to make key decisions in their field of work
  • encourage students to take an interest in the diverse socio-moral issues which affect the well-being of the world
  • realise the relevance of ethical dilemmas in their daily living.
  • identify values and priotise them because that is important first step toward understanding and resolving ethical dilemmas
  • develop an understanding of their own ethical principles.

Those students who are interested, please register with our school counselor, Ms Lee Bee Suan by 10 May 2012.  Please note that the conference fee of S$60 each as indicated in the registration form only includes the cost of meals and materials provided during the conference itself and exclude accommodation expenses during your stay in Singapore.
