Fourth Former Foong Zhe Cong of 4S1 has done SMJK Kwang Hua proud by being one of two Malaysians among 55 international winners of the prestigious Australian Mathematics Competition Medal Award and he was selected from half a million students world wide from 35 countries who participated in this competition. Professor Peter Taylor, Executive Director of the Australian Mathematics Trust, accompanied by Dr. Lim Chong Kiang, former SIT Chief Executive Officer, personally presented the Medal Award during SMJK Kwang Hua ‘s Hari Anugerah Kecemerlangan on 30th October 2003. Foong Zhe Cong was one of 15 students from SMJK Kwang Hua who participated in the Australian Mathematics Competition organized by SIT on 29th July 2003.
