On the 28 of February 2016, SMJK Sam Tet sent three students who were Foong Jin Yu from 3C2, Chan Yao Wen from 4S2 and Chan Xin Hong from 5S6 to participate in the Perak Chinese Calligraphy Competition which was held at SMJK Nan Hwa, Sitiawan. Three of them managed to win three golds from the competition and they will also represent Perak state to participate in the National Competition soon.

三德国中于2016年2月28日参加了一项在实兆远南华中学举办的霹雳州书法比赛并夺得优异的成绩。冯荐尧，陈耀文，陈信鸿 分别来自3C2, 4S2 和5S6成功在此比赛中荣获金奖。更加值得可贺的是这三位学生即将代表霹雳州参加全国书法赛。

Pada 28 hari bulan Februari yang lalu, sekolah SMJK Sam Tet telah menghantar tiga pelajar yang bernama Foong Jin Yu daripada kelas 3C2, Chan Yao Wen daripada kelas 4S2 dan juga Chan Xin Hong daripada kelas 5S6 untuk menyertai Pertandingan Kaligrafi Cina peringkat negeri Perak 2016 yang dianjurkan di sekolah SMJK Nan Hwa, Sitiawan. Ketiga-tiga pelajar tersebut telah mendapat tiga emas dari pertandingan tersebut dan mereka juga akan mewakili negeri Perak untuk menyertai Pertandingan kebangsaan yang akan dianjurkan nanti.
