On 19th September 2015, SMJK Sam Tet sent a team to participate in the Instituc in SMK Methodist ACS,Ipoh.17 schools in Perak state participated in this competition that tested on students' chemistry concept and practical experimental skills. After all the hard work, team from SMJK Sam Tet which consisted of 3 members who were Choong Wai Kean, Choong Zheng Yi and Lau Chee Yuan managed to attain first runner-up in this competition.

三德中学于2015年9月19日派出一支队伍到SMK Methodist ACS参加了由马来西亚化学机构举办的化学知识比赛。此比赛由17所学校参与，主要测试学生们对化学观念的理解和实验技巧。三德队代表钟伟健，钟征益与刘祺源在一番努力后终于夺得了第二名。
Pada 19 September 2015, SMJK Sam Tet telah menghantar sebuah pasukan untuk menyertai pertandingan pengetahuan kimia yang dianjurkan oleh Institut Kimia Malaysia (IKM) di SMK Methodist ACS, Ipoh. 17 sekolah dari Perak telah menyertai pertandingan ini yang menguji konsep kimia dan kemahiran melakukan eksperimen. Pasukan Sam Tet yang terdiri daripada Choong Wai Kean, Choong Zheng Yi dan Lau Chee Yuan telah memenangi tempat kedua dalam pertandingan tersebut.
