Sports Day

         After a fortnight of being over busy with preparations, the 52^nd Annual Sports Day of Sam Tet was held on the 3^rd of May 2014. The day began with march past by various uniform bodies, the contingents from five different houses and the primary students which were involved. Each contingent proudly showed off their team colours and flags in a creative fashion, to the delight of the proud parents and supporters who turned up to cheer the students on.

        After the march past, the guest of honour gave a motivating speech and declared the opening the sports. One by one the events took place in a very well disciplined manner and all the athletes had done their best to fight for their houses with the spirit of sportsmanship. On the other hand, a wide array of food and drinks stalls were set up by societies and clubs lined the school compound. Soon the street of school compound was solid with students when they allowed to buy food and drinks from the stalls.

       The games and sports last for about two hours and then comes the most exciting moment of the day - the moment of appreaciating the winners by awarding them prizes and medals. A loud clapping and shouting of cheers when the Red House was announced to be the overall champion in this meaningful event.
