Excellence-Awarding Ceremony

                The annual prize-giving day 2014 was held at the Brother John Moh Hall on the 26^th of April 2014. The new motto for our school is “No One Is Left Behind”. Our principal, Mr. Lau Swee Mun stressed that this is to ensure that every student who studies in this school is given a chance to excel.

            The guest of honour for this event was Dr. Mah Hang Soon, whose son Mah Song Wei was honoured as one of the best students in SPM for achieving 10A’s in the 2013 SPM examination. Dr. Mah said that as a centre of education for students, a school must not only nurture students to produce excellent results, but also to develop critical thinking skills and encourage students to have a broader perspective in life. This occasion was also held to honour the high achievers for STPM.

            Parents and teachers were treated to wonderful performances by the Chinese Orchestra, Symphony Orchestra and various other clubs and societies. Overall, the prize-giving day went by successfully. The school hopes that such encouragement from the school will inspire students to work even harder and excel in their studies and co-curricular activities.
