MR ABDUL MAJEED BIN MOHAMMAD SHARIFF' S RETIREMENT CEREMONY
FRIDAY 13 APRIL 2018

On the 13th of April 2018, Mr Abdul Majeed Bin Mohamed Shariff's retirement ceremony was held in Bro John Moh Hall. At 7.30a.m., students and teachers gathered in the hall to bid farewell to their beloved teacher, Mr Majeed. The ceremony began with the singing of national anthem, followed with a stupendous performance presented by the school Symphony Orchestra. Mr Liew Chee Ming was then invited to read the biodata of Mr Majeed. Next, Madam Foo Mei Mei was invited to offer words of compliments to Mr Majeed. She praised Mr Majeed as a commendable and dedicated teacher who had successfully completed his teaching career with unconditional passion and dedication. After that, our school head prefect, Liew Yan Lin was given the privilege to deliver a speech. He thanked Mr Majeed copiously for his service in the school. After the speech, a power point presentation specially done by the Form 6 student were presented.

Later, our special host, Mr Majeed was then invited to deliver a farewell speech on the stage. He thanked all the teachers profusely and advised all the students to strive hard for a brighter future. Then, our school choir club representatives presented “You Raised Me Up”, followed with two other mellifluous songs presented by Puan Nuurhasmah. Later, certificates and prizes from the students and teachers were presented to Mr Majeed as a token of appreciation for his service. The ceremony marked its end with the cake cutting and memorable send off at 2.15p.m.

三德中学于2018年4月13日上午在本校穆文常修士大礼堂为我校资深老师，阿都马吉老师举办了一场隆重的欢送会。全校师生与上午7时30分与学校礼堂集合。唱了国歌后，全体师生便一同观赏由我校交响乐团的精心表演。过后，廖志明老师便上台讲述阿都马吉老师的个人简介。。接着，我校代校长，胡美美代校长上台感谢并赞扬阿都马吉老师多年的付出。我校学生代表，刘彦凌同学也上台感谢阿都马吉老师的教导，并献上祝福语。接着，大家便观赏由中六学生精心编制的录影片段和幻灯片。

过后，阿都马吉老师便上台致词。阿都马吉老师给全体老师致谢，同时也劝勉同学们要为努力学习，方能实现理想。接着，我校歌咏队的同学也上台给老师献上精彩绝伦的表演。过后，老师以及同学们也纷纷上台给阿都马吉老师献上他们精心准备的礼物。切蛋糕以及欢送仪式后，此欢送会正式结束。

Pada 13th April 2018, majlis persaraan Encik Abdul Majeed Bin Mohamed Shariff telah dianjurkan di Dewan Bro John Moh, SMJK Sam Tet. Pada jam 7.30 pagi, semua pelajar dan guru berkumpul di dewan untuk mengucapkan terima kasih kepada Encik Majeed yang akan bersara. Majlis persaraan ini bermula dengan nyanyian lagu Negaraku, diikuti dengan persembahan luar biasa yang disampaikan oleh Kelab Orkestra Simfoni. Encik Liew Chee Ming kemudiannya dijemput untuk membaca biodata Encik Majeed. Seterusnya, Puan Foo Mei Mei telah dijemput untuk memberikan ucapan pujian kepada Encik Majeed. Dia memuji Encik Majeed bahawa beliau merupakan seorang guru terpuji dan berdedikasi yang telah berjaya menyelesaikan kerjaya pengajarannya dengan semangat dan dedikasi. Selepas itu, ketua pengawas sekolah kami, Liew Yan Lin telah diberikan kepeluangan untuk menyampaikan ucapan. Dia mengucapkan terima kasih kepada Encik Majeed dengan penuh khidmatnya di sekolah. Selepas ucapannya, persembahan dibuat secara khusus oleh pelajar Tingkatan 6 telah dibentangkan.

Encik Majeed kemudiannya dijemput untuk menyampaikan ucapan perpisahannya. Beliau mengucapkan terima kasih kepada semua guru dan menasihati semua pelajar untuk berusaha demi masa depan yang lebih cerah. Kemudian, Kelab Koir sekolah kami telah menyanyikan lagu "You Raised Me Up", diikuti dengan dua lagu lain yang disampaikan oleh Puan Nuurhasmah. Kemudian, sijil dan hadiah daripada para pelajar dan guru turut disampaikan kepada Encik Majeed sebagai tanda penghargaan atas khidmatnya. Majlis persaraan ini berakhir dengan pemotongan kek dan penghantaran pada pukul 2.15p.m.
